How do I reserve you for a photo session?
You should book your session no less than 4 weeks in advance. My peak seasons are between June-October. If you prefer a summer or fall session, I recommend booking 3-4 months in advanced. To reserve an available date, I require a non-refundable $50 deposit. As soon as we have decided on a date and time for your session, and you’ve paid your deposit, you will be officially booked!
Which form of payments do you accept?
Cash, Credit Card or Check. I do offer an easy. A $50 non-refundable deposit is due at booking and the remaining balance is due at the time of your scheduled session.
How do you describe your shooting style?
I always strive and aim to capture the candid moments and real emotions between the amazing people I get to photograph. I try my best to let you interact as natural as possible but will also give direction and guide you when necessary.
What rights do I have to the digital prints?
You will receive reproduction rights to all your images. This gives you the right to reproduce the images for personal use, so you can use them for prints, sharing them on your social media, making canvases, etc. Commercial use is not allowed unless separately agreed on.
Which locations do you recommend for a lifestyle Session?
Sioux Falls has so many great spots – from Downtown Sioux Falls, to Lake Alvin, the Outdoor Campus, or the beautiful Palisades, we’ll be sure to find the best spot that fits your preferred style.
What should we wear?
Do not stress about this! When you book me for photos, I’m also signing up to help you along the way with coordinating outfits. For all my sessions, my gal clients have access to my personal Client Closet. Please let me know if you’d be interested in seeing the dresses I have available so we can arrange a try-on time. I also provide each client with a Style Guide PDF that has tips and suggestions when preparing for your upcoming session!
How soon will my photos be available?
Sometimes a sneak preview will be published on my social sites (with your permission) within one week after the session. Your completed, edited online gallery will be available 2-4 weeks after your session. Wedding galleries are sent between 6-8 weeks post wedding.
